After using pick up lines on hundreds of women over the years I have come out the other side a bit of an expert really, on making the interaction go a lot smoother and increasing the chances of her actually meeting you again (which is sometimes a little tricky, regardless of your game).
Here are my top five lessons learned:
Lesson 1 – Always go for the digits
The end goal no matter what should be that you get her contact details, ideally the digits so you can call her and close the deal on the phone, but Facebook or an email is fine, in some cases they have been better for me as you can be more articulate.
Lesson 2 - Never stop plowing
Often times, women will say “no” or “I’m in a hurry” but you need to remain firm, I’ve noticed that they have a lot more respect for you if you can show them you have balls and it’s important they talk to you. So whenever a negative comment comes up or she makes an excuse, just plow like a pro and don’t stop until you get her info.
Lesson 3 - Always approach with rock solid confidence
There is no way in hell you will stop a pretty girl (especially in a busy place like London). Which means when you stop someone, you need to be 100% confident that they WILL stop, if there is a moment of hesitation the girl will sniff that out and carry on walking or getting on with her day/night.
Lesson 4 - Take note of what works
You need to be like a crazy scientist for the first few months of trying pick up lines, see what works and what gets the best response then, use that same line or action but keep refining it until it’s second nature. When you notice yourself just reeling off lines without any effort and they are working, it’s an awesome feeling.
Lesson 5 - Don’t invest too much time
Although you want to meet up with the girl and eventually sleep with her, you should always put a cap on how much time you invest with her. If it’s too long you will come across desperate and needy, like you have nothing else to be getting on with. Make her think you’re busy, unpredictable and most importantly unobtainable… this is what will make her desire you all the more.
